Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join our dynamic team. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in finance and accounting, strong leadership abilities, and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategy and ensuring effective financial management across the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct professional financial analysis, focusing on profit and loss (P&L) assessments.
- Develop and implement financial plan, aligning with the company's strategic objectives.
- Manage cash flows effectively, ensuring optimal liquidity for business operations.
- Utilize expertise in tax planning to minimize liabilities and enhance financial efficiency.
- Liaise with auditors and manage tax-related risks, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Analyze and report on financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Initiate and oversee cost reduction strategies to optimize financial resources.
- Manage and optimize banking relationships and loan facilities.
- Lead, train, and coach the finance team, enhancing their skills and performance.
- Oversee the recruitment process for finance team members, identifying key skills and attributes.
- Assist on the collection of payments.
- Actively participate in strategic decisions, offering insights based on financial analysis.
- Collaborate in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), including company acquisitions and share allocation strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred.
- experience as a finance managerial & controller or similar role for at least 8 years.
- Able to communicate in Mandarin is a bonus.
- Strong skills in financial analysis, planning, and forecasting.
- Expertise in tax planning and risk management.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
